Michiganders Against Data Centers - Lansing Protest

  • Michigan State Capitol 100 North Capitol Avenue Lansing, MI, 48933 United States (map)

LET’S TAKE THIS FIGHT TO LANSING

Hi, everyone! It's time to stand up with other impacted communities across the state. We’re taking this fight straight to Lansing.

Join us TUESDAY, DECEMBER 16 from 11am-1pm at the Michigan State Capitol for the Michiganders United Against Data Centers - Lansing Protest.

We are holding this event on Tuesday because state legislators will be in session. And we want them to hear us loud and clear before the next Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) hearing!

Our top message is simple and urgent:

NO SECRET DEALS.

No fast-tracked utility approvals.
No NDAs.
No redactions.
No backdoor negotiations with Big Tech.

We're also calling for:

  • A statewide moratorium on data centers

  • An end to corporate handouts

  • Protection of Michigan's land and water

  • Support for the rural communities being bullied or sued into silence

This is a nonpartisan, statewide movement. Left, right, and everything in between - we are united as Michiganders!

WHERE: Michigan State Capitol, East Steps
WHEN: 11:00–11:30 march, 11:30–1:00 speakers and testimonies
WHO: Speakers from both parties, community leaders & residents

PARKING: Street parking + nearby ramps (North Capitol / North Grand)

Bring your signs, dress warm, and stand with the 18+ Michigan communities fighting to protect our land, water, and future.

Let's show our legislators that we are united and Michigan is not for sale!
